Derek Lowe went 9 strong innings as the Tombstone Huckleberries defeated the
Jefferson Park Penguins by the score of 2 to 0 at the ballpark.
Lowe(11-11) was simply too much for the Jefferson Park batters. He allowed
only 4 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings. Both teams finished the game with 4
hits.
The loss was charged to Brandon Webb(13-7). 'Lowe was the man today,' Doug
Salzwedel said. 'He had just about every pitch working.'
